Why can I not see songs in my library? To make sure you can access and play the songs in your music library, please check the following three things: 1) Double-check that AudioRetune has permission to access your music library. To check, please go to the device settings and scroll down to “Retune”. The first switch “Allow access to Media & Apple Music” should be activated. For reference, please see the screenshot. 2) You can also check if the song is found in the library when entering only part of the title (especially the first or last words without an apostrophe) and see if the song pops up in the “Title” section of the search view. 3) Please make sure that the right iTunes account is used on the phone. To do that, you can simply launch the iOS Music app, click on the search icon on the bottom right, please make sure you are searching “your library” and not all of “Apple Music” in the search bar, and then you can check if there are any search results for “midnight”. If there are none, then it is possible that a different iTunes / Music account is currently active on the phone.

How do I get DRM free versions of songs that I have bought? Please look for the issue you might be encountering from the Apple support forum. According to Lifewire it is possible to upgrade old songs to DRM free version using the iTunes Match service, but the caveat here is that these songs still need to be available in the iTunes Store - check here. The iTunes Match service, however, is somewhat hidden in iTunes. This article can help you how to find and activate it. The solution may be worth pursuing, if a song collection contains a large number of older, DRM protected files.
-
Why does AudioRetune not open a song file that I have downloaded?AudioRetune can only open files that are not DRM protected, like the ones that can be downloaded for offline use from Apple Music or Spotify. DRM protected files typically have the file extension, ".m4p", and for copyright protection, AudioRetune will not be able to use these files. Most digital music files that can be bought today, for example like the ones in the iTunes Music Store, are not no longer DRM protected.
